Place/Space: Paintings & Drawings by Edward Epp & Ann Kipling

May 13 - June 17, 2017
Opening reception: Saturday, May 13, 2-4 pm

Kardosh Projects and Marion Scott Gallery are pleased to announce a two-person exhibition featuring paintings by Edward Epp and drawings by Ann Kipling. The exhibition explores the affinities and differences between these two well-known British Columbia artists, examining the different ways in which the related concepts of space and place are addressed in their respective bodies of work. Kipling’s atmospheric drawings, by turns spare and dense, are contrasted with Epp’s passionately executed paintings in a presentation that includes older works from the 1960s and 1970s along with images produced within the last two years.
