Michael Morris featured in Border Crossings

By wp - On February 10, 2013

Michael Morris is the subject of a feature article in the summer 2013 issue of Border Crossings magazine. In an article entitled “Michael Morris: of Words, Wiliness and Wisdom,” author Robin Laurence discusses Morris’s long career, beginning with his exposure to the dynamic London art world in the mid 1960s and his subsequent success as a leading member of Vancouver’s avant garde painting scene. She traces Morris’s later engagement with conceptualism and his seminal involvement with Image Bank. Laurence argues that Morris’s evolving practice and its conceptual concerns are as relevant today as they were in the 1960s, the artist’s most formative decade.
